Unable to Signin with my Whittier College Microsoft Account (Error Code 500)
When I attempt to signin to Moodle using my Microsoft credentials I get a "500:Internal Server Error".
or I receive a Logon Denied Error.
Answer
The error code 500 or login denied message can be removed by following the steps below:
1. Go to: https://login.microsoftonline.com/logout.srf to clear the cached credentials.
2. When prompted to pick a Microsoft Account select the Use another Account Method. See the Image below:
3. Put your Full Whittier College email address and then press Next
4. Put in your Microsoft Account password. Employees will already have a Microsoft account and password created. If you are a student without a password, please follow the steps at Entra ID Setup Guide - Students : to setup your password and multifactor authentication.
