How do I import a Resource or Assignment from another course?

Answer

Moodle assignments can be imported from one course to another by using the Import method. The steps below are how to import an assignment from a different Moodle course without erasing elements of your current course:

 

  1.  Within Course Administration click on Import
  2.  In the search box that appears type the name of the Moodle course that you would like to import from. Once found, select the course and press continue
  3.  For Import Settings uncheck every box except include activities and resources. Then click Next
  4. Select None to uncheck all of the resources.
  5. Once unselected, select the categories that you would like to import and the specific assignments that need to be imported 

 

     6. Press Next and then Preform Import
