How can I email my students through Moodle?
Answer
There are 2 methods to email students within Moodle.
Method 1:
Use the "Announcement Forum" which will email all participants by default.
Method 2:
The Most common method is the Quick Mail option (usually found at the top right of the screen)
1. Select the "Compose Course Message" option
2. In the "To" category choose the student and teacher roles
a. This category can also be used to send emails to individual students enrolled in the course.
3. Compose your email
4. Ensure "Send message as" is set to email
5. Press "Send Message" when your email is ready
