Yes, Urkund is our new plagiarism detection tool that draws from the Internet, published material, and student material. Their website offers guides and tutorials that can provide more information.
How to add an assignment with Urkund:
1. Turn editing on
2. Click on Add an activity or resource
3. On the left side of the box, click Assignment then click Add
4. After naming your assignment, scroll down to URKUND plagiarism plugin
5. Change the option to Yes to Enable URKUND. You have to remember to enable the plug in for every assignment, it is not automatically turned on.
6. There are various choices that you can choose from for your assignments
7. Scroll down and click Save and return to course
